We apply a credit to your account if you experience order or delivery issues, if you refer friends to the Instacart platform, or if you have any remaining amount from a promotion. Cart Cash combines promotion credits, refunds, and make good appeasements. You don’t have to do anything to accept or apply these. When you apply Cart Cash to an order, the Cart Cash with the earliest expiration date applies first. You can see Cart Cash details and their expiration dates in the Credits - Manage Cart Cash, Gift Cards, Fresh Funds, section of your account.
Credit has no cash value. Void where restricted or prohibited by law. You can’t transfer Cart Cash to another Instacart account.
We can’t apply promos or credits toward fees, taxes, tips, or alcohol items due to local laws and regulations.
