      Directions

Temaki-Sushi: Spoon a tablespoon of sushi rice on the side of 1/2 cut Roasted Seaweed, spread evenly. Fill with favorite filling such as salad, cucumber, asparagus, cooked shrimp, fresh tuna, smoked salmon, cooked crab meat, caviar, unagi (seasoned roasted eel), sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds, then roll into a cone for a delicious Temaki-Sushi. Maki-Sushi: Place a whole sheet of roasted seaweed over a bamboo mat, moisten fingers and evenly spread 1 cup sushi rice over 2/3 of the roasted seaweed with the uncovered part away from you. Put strips of filling such as egg, cucumber, seasoned kampyo, ham, tuna or unagi (eel). Slowly fold mat over with both hands, opening the mat right away to adjust the connecting portion of the nori. Wrap with the mat again and press lightly. Remove the mat, then slice into the size you like. Please finish as soon as possible after opening. This package contains a packet of moisture absorbent chemicals (desiccant) to protect against dampness. Keep this desiccant in package and store in refrigerator. Depending upon the way you cut it, there are many ways you can enjoy meals with Nori. Whole Sheet - Futo-Makizushi (Sushi) cut in half to make Hoso-Makizushi (narrow sushi rolls). 1/2 Sheet - Temake-Zushi (hand rolls) cut into two pieces to make Mini-Temakizushi (small hand rolls). 1/3 Sheet - Onigiri (rice balls). 1/8 Sheet - For breakfast style (if you cut in really small pieces, you can use as Kizami-Nori (Julienned nori) or Momi-Nori (crumpled nori).
